John Peter Weldon is a Canadian Chartered Mediator, Adjunct Professor of Mediation at the Hofstra University School of Law, and Attorney practicing in the French-speaking province of Quebec. After a 15-year career in civil and criminal litigation, he became an accredited mediator in 1993 and went on to mediate over 750 cases of family mediation. In 2005, he began specializing in workplace mediation and in 2009, in collaboration with the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation, he developed a course in French on Mediating Complaints of Workplace Bullying: A Transformative Approach for the Quebec Bar, which he teaches regularly in Montreal.  In 2011, he launched the Reseau pour une approche transformative du conflit to support French-speaking professionals trained in the transformative approach.
