Fred van Welsem
Fred is one of the first mediators in The Netherlands. He received his basic training in the US. After practicing law he is a full time mediator and trainer since 2004. Fred is a certified transformative mediator.
He is passionate in developing and leading workshops that focus on the presence of the mediator and other professionals. A sample of the workshop titles is: ‘The presence of the mediator’, ‘Center and parts’ and ‘Mindfulness for the mediator’. These workshops have been presented internationally in The Netherlands, USA, Scotland and other countries.
Fred is trained in Internal Family Systems Therapy (www.selfleadership.org). He is a T’ai Chi Ch’uan enthusiast and a meditation practitioner, instructor and teacher in the Shambhala tradition (www.shambhala.org). All enriching the many aspects of his work.
